me? blog?

Well, here I am... joining millions in blogs. Not that I think I have so many important things to say. I'm certainly not famous. Just a chic in Wisconsin trying to sort through the chaos I call my life. I wear so many hats & titles sometimes I just want to crawl in bed and pull the covers over my head until no one calls my name. Wife, mother, medical coder, scrapbooker, card maker, baker, party planner and all around family girl. Don't get me wrong - most of the time I Love life. I like baking everyone's birthday cakes and being the official historian of the family with my scrapbooks. But sometimes I crave calm & order and it always eludes me. Maybe keeping a blog will give me way to get some of the chaos out of my head and prod me towards calm and order. Maybe it will just make me laugh and add one more thing to the "have to do list" who knows. I've never been a good journal keeper. I desperately want to be. I've read Keeping a Journal You Love and started to keep one a thousand times. I'm motivated and inspired by Cathy Zielske, Ali Edwards & Stacy Julian - their scrapbooks are the kind I want to keep. (With my own personal touches thrown in for good measure) Maybe this will be the place I share my layouts, my thoughts, my struggles, my triumphs and my pictures! We'll see how long it lasts...
